A second yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for the south following heavy downpours on Tuesday.

The Met Office alert covers West Sussex, Isle of Wight and most of Hampshire, from 5.00pm on Wednesday until 6.00am on Thursday.

The alert warns of the chance of some flooding and disruption.

Strong winds are also likely, with gusts 40 to 50 mph possible along the south coast.
