Police are appealing for witnesses and information after two motorcyclists were killed in a crash on the edge of the New Forest.

Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a Mercedes Sprinter van, a Honda motorcycle and a Yamaha motorcycle on the Marchwood bypass in Totton at just after 6.15am on Wednesday (October 6th).

The drivers of both the motorcycles, a 38-year-old man from Gosport and a 49-year-old man from Southampton, died at the scene.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this time.

The A326 Marchwood Bypass was closed in both directions to allow for police investigation work to take place.

Officers are looking to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw, or has dashcam footage, of what happened.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference number 44210400737.
