Two men have suffered life-threatening injuries after a car crashed into a tree in the New Forest.

Their red Ford Fiesta came off the road near Ipers Bridge on Rollestone Road in Holbury at 10.10pm on Wednesday.

A 42-year-old man from Totton and a 21-year-old man from Holbury, suffered life-threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old man from Holbury also suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, police said.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Following initial inquiries we are asking for anyone who saw the moments leading up to this incident.

"We would particularly like to speak to anyone with relevant dash cam footage."
