Tributes to Salisbury man killed in crash in Hampshire

He's been described by his family as a 'loving husband and father'.

Tributes have been paid to a man from Salisbury who died following a crash on the Marchwood bypass in Hampshire.

68-year-old pedestrian Dr Guy Powell died at the scene following the collision on the A326, which also involved a van and a car.

It happened at some time between 6.50pm and 6.55pm last Monday (March 6th).

The incident happened at some time between 6.50pm and 6.55pm on Monday, 6 March and involved a pedestrian and two vehicles; a Volkswagen Transporter and a Suzuki Swift.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Guy's family have paid the following tribute to him:

"Guy was a dedicated and loving husband and father. He had an unwavering commitment to helping patients with their mental health issues."

Hampshire Police is continuing to investigate this incident and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who may have seen someone waiting to cross the road at the location.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who may have been passing through the area between 6.45pm and 6.55pm who has a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle.
