Tributes have been made to a married couple who were found dead in a camper van after attending a cider festival in a national park.

The identity of the pair has been confirmed by the Hampshire coroner's office as Chris and Kayleigh Coll.

Paramedics and police were called to the vehicle parked in Pound Lane, Burley, in the New Forest on Sunday where the two bodies were found.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said that they were a 38-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man from Blandford Forum, Dorset.

The police spokesman said: "Shortly after midday on Sunday 12 October, our South Central Ambulance Service partners made us aware of the unexpected death of two people inside a parked campervan on Pound Lane, Burley.

"Officers attended the scene.

"A 38-year-old woman and 45-year-old man, both from Blandford Forum, had been pronounced dead at the scene.

"Their next of kin have been notified and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

A spokeswoman for New Forest Cider said that the couple had attended its craft cider festival held during the weekend.

She said: "We were deeply saddened to learn of the tragic deaths of two individuals who attended the New Forest Cider Festival this weekend.

"Our thoughts and condolences are with their family and friends at this very difficult time.

"The incident occurred in a private vehicle on Saturday night and was not connected to the event itself.

"The police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances, and we are co-operating fully with their inquiries."

Mr Coll, who ran Mystacoll's Spirit which sold handcrafted copper art, crystals, clothing and jewellery, had posted on Facebook ahead of the cider festival: "Huge excitement for us as we set up our marquee today ready for the @newforestciderfestival in Burley this weekend!!!"

Paying tribute on Facebook, Jack O'Donoghue posted: "It's with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden and tragic accident that took the lives of our beloved Chris and Kayleigh over the weekend.

"Our main priority right now is the well-being of the children, and we ask that you give us time and space to grieve and focus on them.

"Your love, kindness and understanding mean the world to us during this incredibly difficult time."

Friend Kayleigh Jones, who said that the couple had four children, posted: "We've grown up together and I watched you turn into an incredible mum.

"You were the most selfless person ever. You deserved your happily ever after more than anyone I know

"None of you deserved this. Life is so cruel. The only solace in this whole f** thing is that you went together, peacefully.

"My heart is broken. We will never get over this. I'm sending you all so much love."

Charlene Dark posted: "The sky shines brighter now with 2 more stars

"I know there will many 'Mummy's' on here that will remember Kayleigh and her extremely big heart.

"Chris and Kay you will be so greatly missed by so many."
