Three sought after man attacked with 'blunt object' in Southampton

Police are searching for three men, including one pictured with a baseball bat, in connection with an attack on a man in Southampton.

The victim, in his 40s, was hit over the head with a blunt object in Thomas Lewis Way at around 10.50pm on Thursday (October 3rd).

He told police that he was attacked assaulted after stopping to help another man who was seemingly being attacked by a group.

Officers have issued CCTV images of the men they are looking to trace in connection with their investigations.

• A man aged between 35 and 40 years old, bald with a short dark beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt, a grey jacket, dark trousers and black shoes. He was carrying a belt.

• A white man aged between 35 and 40-years-old, wearing a dark puffer jacket, tight jogging bottoms, and carrying a sandbag.

• A white man aged between 35 and 40-years-old. He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts, and white trainers. He was carrying a black baseball bat.
