Appeal: Teenage girl touched inappropriately in Bishops Waltham

The man has reportedly been seen on previous occasions on the high street

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a teenage girl was approached by a man who touched her inappropriately in Bishops Waltham on Friday 23 August.

The incident is reported to have occurred in a car park on Basingwell Street between 11am and 11.20am.

During the incident, the victim was approached by a man who tried to engage her in conversation, asking her if she was single, before then inappropriately touching her over her clothes.

The man, who has reportedly been seen on previous occasions on the high street in Bishops Waltham, is described as, white, aged between 50 and 70 years and approximately 5ft 8ins tall. He's of medium build, with short grey hair and wearing glasses, a baseball cap, red T-shirt, black trousers and black shoes.
