Teenager from Poole sentenced after assault in Hampshire

The 18-year-old attacked two people, who both suffered minor injuries in the assault

Alfie Logan Roper, who's 18 and of no fixed abode, was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday (18th November) after pleading guilty to assault and public order offences.

It comes after an assault back on Friday 21st of October, where a man and a woman were attacked on Station Road in New Milton just after 10.30pm.

The pair suffered minor injuries, and were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Roper was later picked up by police, after enquiries were carried out.

He'll now spend 18 weeks in a young offenders institute.

As well as his sentence, he was also given instruction to comply with a restraining order ensuring that he cannot contact one of the victims, whilst also being ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge fee.
