A 17 year old boy's been arrested by police investigating an assualt in Bournemouth that's left a man with minor face and arm injuries.

Officers were called to Golden Supermarket on Charminster Road at 2am on Sunday (7 September) where the injured man was found.

The teenager - who has now been bailed as investigations continue - was detained on suspicion of assault by beating and affray.

Police Constable Mohi Uddin, of Bournemouth police, said, "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to please get in touch.

"From our initial enquiries, we believe there may have been other people who were reportedly assaulted and we would ask them to please come forward so we can take their account."
