Teenage motorcyclist killed in Southampton crash named

19-year-old George Milton's family say he 'lived life to the max'

A man who died following a collision in Southampton has officially been named by police as George Milton from Eastleigh.

The 19-year-old was taken to hospital after a motorbike collided with a number of parked vehicles in Portswood Road in the early hours of Monday (August 14th), but died a short time later.

His family are being supported by specialist officers and have now made the following tribute to him:

“After the devastating news that George sadly passed away, we are overwhelmed by all the tributes still coming in for our special boy.

“George was loved by many. He was very caring and affectionate and he lived life to the max. George will be forever young. We will love you forever.”

The collision remains under investigation and Hampshire Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it who has not already come forward.
