Teenage cyclist seriously injured in Portchester crash

Two other teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of driving offences

A 16 year old cyclist's been seriously injured in a crash in Portchester.

The teenager from Portsmouth collided with a car on Portsdown Hill Road - at the junction with Portchester Lane and Skew Road - at around 9.45pm last night (Tuesday 13th August).

A silver Honda Jazz was involved.

Police have arrested an 18 year old man from Gosport on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving.

A 17 year old boy from Lee-on-the-Solent has also been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

There's now an appeal for witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage, that might have seen what happened in a westbound direction on Portsdown Hill Road.
