Suspected tornado flips over caravan in New Forest

A family holidaying in the New Forest have had a lucky escape as a suspected tornado flipped over their caravan.
It happened yesterday evening (Thursday 13th April 2023) at Bamptons Farm in Lymington.
A couple and their son weren't there at the time.
It's believed the caravan is a write-off.
Rebecca Fulker took pictures of the suspected tornado as she walked with a friend along the Lymington salt flats sea wall yesterday.
She told us she got caught by hail, wind and rain.
