Suspected arson in Bournemouth

Police in Dorset have confirmed the details behind a cordon being put in place on Montgomery Avenue in Bournemouth.

It comes after officers received a report at 6.31am this morning (April 11) of a suspected arson.

Officers attended and the fire was extinguished.

We're told there were no injuries reported to the occupants of the premises.

Police tell us that a detailed investigation is being carried out into the circumstances of this incident and a cordon has been put in place as enquiries are conducted.

There is already an increased police presence in the vicinity and officers can be approached by members of the public with any concerns.
