Southampton teenager charged with Islamist terror offences
The 15-year-old has been bailed to appear in court
A 15-year-old boy from Southampton has been charged with terror offences relating to extreme Islamist ideology.
The teenager is charged with three counts of having a document or record of information likely to be useful to a person preparing an act of terrorism, Counter Terrorism Policing South East said.
He is also accused of three counts of encouraging terrorism.
The boy was charged on Monday and released on bail.
He will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on January 29th.
