Southampton man charged with murder of man in Andover

A man from Southampton has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Andover.

35-year-old Sean Ember was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called to an address in Arcaro Road at 8.41pm on Friday (November 29th).

Specialist officers are supporting his family.

Justin Griffith, who is 41 years old and of Botley Road, has been charged with murder and possession of a knife in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (Thursday 5th).

A 21-year-old man, also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released from custody without charge and will face no further action.
