Hamilton is coming to Southampton
Mayflower Theatre will host a six-week season between 18 March and 26 April 2025
Hamilton the musical is coming to Southampton's Mayflower Theatre.
The West End and Broadway smash hit will arrive in the city in March 2025 as part of a UK tour.
The Olivier, Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical opened Victoria Palace Theatre in London in December 2017 where it continues to play to sell-out houses.
The production plays to record breaking houses on Broadway, Toronto, Australia and Germany with forthcoming seasons in New Zealand and an international tour also planned.
A brand-new company for the UK and Ireland tour is currently being assembled from over 3,000 hopeful artists.
The cast for the UK and Ireland tour will be announced soon and tickets go on general sale on 5 October.
Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now, featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway.
The musical is the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton.
