Portsmouth man arrested after reports of sexual assault

A 19-year-old man from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after an incident last week.

Police officers received reports on the 30th of April 2025 that a woman in her 20s was touched inappropriately on Copnor Road by a man she didn't know.

The man remains in police custody whilst they continue to investigate.
