Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in Winchester collision
Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of drug-driving
A woman has suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision in Winchester.
The crash, which involved a pedestrian and a blue Vauxhall Corsa car, happened at the junction of Worthy Road and Russell Road at around 5.45pm yesterday (Sunday 8th).
The pedestrian, in her 60s, is currently receiving hospital treatment for her injuries.
A 23-year-old woman from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by careless driving. She remains in custody.
Hampshire Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision, particularly anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage.
