An investigation is underway into the disappearance of a passenger from a Southampton cruise ship.

The man went missing from MSC Euribia after the ship sailed from Southampton on 15 March.

An MSC Cruises spokesman said: "A passenger on board MSC Euribia went overboard on March 16 as the ship was sailing to Hamburg.

"This was reported to the authorities.
