Oil tanker runs aground off the Needles

An oil tanker which run aground off the Isle of Wight has refloated

The Liberian registered Chem Alya got into trouble off The Needles at about 16:20 BST on Monday.

It was en route to Eygpt after leaving Fawley.

It's now being checked over by surveyors.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) said "there is no pollution, no ingress of water and it has propulsion and power".
