Police say young rider was involved in a collision with a barrier

A young motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after colliding with a barrier on Lynchford Road in Farnborough.

Police were called at 4:23pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 30 April) to reports that a motorbike had collided with a barrier on the slip road towards North Camp Station Roundabout.

The rider, a man in his 20s, suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital.

His family have been informed.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said:

"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or the events leading up to the collision. We would also like to hear from anyone who has Dash Cam footage which could assist our enquiries.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44250187796."
