Man suffers knife wound after woodland attack in Chilworth
Th victim in his 60s was attacked by two teenagers
A man's been attacked with a knife during an unprovoked assault in woodland near Southampton.
It happened off Roman Road in Chilworth last Tuesday (7th October) between 930am and 1030am.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was assaulted by two men, both aged between 18 and 19 years.
It’s reported that the men punched the victim in the body, face and on the back of the head.
It’s stated that one of the men also had a small blade in their possession.
It’s believed this was also used during the incident, causing a laceration to the victim’s shoulder.
Descriptions
The first man police would like to speak to in connection with this incident is described as;
• White
• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
• Slim build
• Brown hair swept to the right
• Wearing a black hooded top, light blue jeans and lime green trainers
The second man police would like to speak to in connection with this incident is described as;
• White
• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
• Slim build
• Brown hair
• Wearing dark clothing
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said:
"We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the assault."
