Man sought in connection with Chichester supermarket attack

Police believe he may have information that could help with their investigation

Police want to speak to a man they have identified in connection with an assault in a Chichester supermarket.

Security staff at Sainsbury’s, in Westhampnett Road, questioned a man who allegedly did not pay for his shopping before trying to leave on Monday, October 31st.

When challenged, he became aggressive and assaulted them.

Investigators are now looking for a man who may have information about the attack which could help with their enquiries.

Anyone able to identify the man pictured is asked to report it to police online or call 101 quoting serial number 810 of 31/10.
