Man knocked unconscious after attack in pub car park in Portchester
Police would like to speak to two men seen in the area at the time
A man's been knocked unconscious during an assault in a car park in Portchester.
It happened on Friday 3rd October, outside the Red Lion Pub in West Street.
A 53-year-old man received wounds to his back requiring stiches, a head injury, and briefly lost consciousness at around 11:15pm. He was treated at Southampton General Hospital and has since been discharged.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said:
"We would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened including two men who were seen the area at the time.
"The first man we would like to speak to is described as:
Average build,
Wearing trainers, jeans, and a hoodie
"The second man we would like to speak to is described as:
Short
Average build
Dark hair
"If you were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, please call 101 and quote 44250448764.
"Additionally, we’d like to hear from you if you have CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell camera footage that may assist our enquiries."
