Man headbutted on Bournemouth bus

Police are investigating and have shared CCTV images

A man's been headbutted by another male passengers on a bus travelling through Bournemouth.

The victim, in his 50s, sustained bruising in the incident on a Morebus service on Alma Road.

The incident happened at around 6.20pm on Thursday 14th March, but the details have been shared by officers now as they have CCTV of a man they'd like to identify.

PC Sian Maynard, of Bournemouth police, said:

“This was an unprovoked assault and I am keen to identify the man responsible.

“My enquiries have continued and I am now issuing images of a man I would like to identify. If you have information about his identity, please get in touch.”
