A man has been charged with arson after a fire at the Bournemouth International Centre.
Firefighters were called to tackle the blaze on Monday night.
The 38-year-old is due to appear at Poole Magistrates' Court today.
In a statement, Dorset Police said: "A man has been charged and is due to appear in court in connection with alleged arson in Bournemouth.
"At 7.38pm on Monday 4 August 2025 a fire occurred at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) in Exeter Road.
"Officers attended to assist the fire service and after liaison with them and fast-time enquiries at the scene, it was alleged that the fire had been started deliberately, and a 38-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested.
"Following a detailed investigation, he has been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
"He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 6 August 2025."
