Man charged in connection with suspected Shanklin stabbing

A man's been charged by police in connection with a suspected stabbing in Shanklin.

Officers were called to the incident in the High Street at just after 6.20pm on Friday (June 21st).

36-year-old Aaron David Caley, of Pellhurst Road in Ryde, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place.

He has been remanded to appear before Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Monday morning (June 24th).
