Man charged following stabbing in Winchester

The 49-year-old is due in court on Saturday (September 11th)

Officers have charged a man in connection with a stabbing at a house in Winchester.

Officers found a man with stab wounds at a house in Andover Road after being called out at 7.12am on Thursday (September 9th).

The 37-year-old was taken to hospital to be treated for what are being described as serious and life-changing injuries.

49-year-old Long Fei Zheng, of Vernham Road in Winchester, has been charged with wounding with intent.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Saturday (September 11th).
