Man appears in court charged with Southampton murder
The body of Ian Wayne Jupe was found at a flat last Tuesday
Officers investigating the death of a man in Southampton have now charged a man with his murder.
Police were called to a flat in Mountain Ash Close just after 1.20pm on Tuesday, May 28, after the body of Ian Wayne Jupe, 58, was found.
Further enquiries into the circumstances of his death led us to believe he had been killed.
We have now charged Tom Alexander Ellison, 35, of Mountain Ash Close, Southampton, with murder.
He has also been charged with theft.
He was remanded in custody and appeared before Southampton Magistrates' Court today (Monday 3 June).
