Major signalling issues impact rush-hour in the South
South Western Railway say the issues are expected to last until around midday
Bosses at South Western Railway have issued a number of alerts to passengers this morning (7 April).
It comes following reports of a number of signalling faults.
We're told trains might be delayed, cancelled or revised on the following routes:
- Between Christchurch and Sway (all lines have reopened)
- Between Cobham and Effingham Junction (all lines have reopened)
- Towards Dorking (because of a train fault)
- Between Poole and Bournemouth
Disruption is starting to ease, with most routes set to be operational by midday at the latest.
Tickets are being allowed on certain bus routes and trains ran by other operators.
You can find out more about the disruption on the SWR website.
