An Isle of Wight woman says the inquest wait times are causing "stress" to families.

Cloe Denham's father died by suicide in January and fears her and her family will have to wait another year and a half for answers.

Her father had previously had a traumatic head injury in an accident.

She said: "It just feels like you're never going to get closure.

"Although we know why, it would just be really good for professionals to say, yes, we could have done more.

"The whole outcome of the inquest, we want change.

"We want to use dad's case for it to never happen again.

"It would be really good for the inquest to create something.

"As horrible as it is, it's the only good thing that can come out of it."

We've reached out to the Isle of Wight Council for a response.
