Police appeal for witnesses after a road traffic collision in Poole

The driver of the car failed to stop after colliding with a motorcycle.

Police investigating a report of a road traffic collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Officers received a report just after 9pm on Friday 28 February of a collision on the B3068 Ringwood Road, near to the junction with Haskells Road, involving a grey Lexmoto motorcycle and a black Vauxhall Corsa.

The car failed to stop at the scene after the collision.

The motorcyclist, a 19 year-old woman, was taken to hospital but her injuries were not believed to be serious.

Police Constable Charlie Bailey, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident as we seek to identify the vehicle involved and the driver.

“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, as well as any motorists who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage, to please make contact with us.”
