10 year old girl grabbed in suspicious Test Valley incident

Hampshire Police is carrying out extra patrols in North Baddesley

A 10 year old girl's been grabbed by a man she didn't know in the Test Valley, with police investigating.

It happened after school, between 3.20 and 3.50pm on Monday (9th December) in North Baddesley.

The girl was approached by a man in Fleming Avenue - he followed her and grabbed her by the wrist in Willis Avenue.

She kicked the man and ran away past a moving vehicle, before going home.

She wasn't injured.

There's now an investigation by Hampshire Police, with witnesses asked to contact officers - they're especially keen to hear from those in the moving vehicle.

Drivers with dash cam footage from the area are asked to pass it on.

Officers have been carrying out extra patrols in the area since this incident, to reassure the community.
