Family tribute to talented carpenter
The family of a man who died in a crash on the Isle of Wight say he was an 'incredibly talented carpenter and devoted dad'
Matej Gruber, 45, from Newport lost control of his van on Ningwood Hill in Shalfleet at 1.22am on Saturday 23 July.
Paying tribute to him, his family said: “Matej was an incredibly talented carpenter who specialised in shepherd’s huts.
“He was a devoted dad to Jessica Gruber and partner to Trudy Waughman.
“He will be sadly missed by both and by all his friends.”
Police say investigations are continuing.
