Driver dies in North Hampshire crash

Police investigating a fatal crash in North Hampshire are appealing for dashcam footage as part of their investigation

Hampshire Police are looking for anyone who witnessed a fatal crash on the A303 near Thruxton.

A man from Somerset died after his car and a lorry collided on Friday morning.

The road was partially closed for a number of hours.

Officers were called at 9.24am on Friday 1st December to a collision on the A303 near Thruxton involving a red Mini Cooper and a lorry.

The driver of the car, a man in his 40s from Kingsdon, Somerset, died at the scene.

His family have been notified.

Police are appealing for anyone who was driving on the A303 and saw the collision or a red Mini and HGV in the moments before it to get in touch.
