Cyclist injured in collision in Portchester

An investigation is getting underway after a cyclist was injured in a collision in Portchester.

Police say they were called to Castle Street Roundabout earlier this week.

A Police statement said:

"We are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Portchester.

"We received a report to of a collision involving a cyclist and a black BMW at the East Street junction on Castle Street Roundabout, that occurred at around 7:45am on Thursday 27 November.

"The cyclist, a women in her 50s, suffered a fractured elbow and attended hospital for treatment.

"We are looking to identify the driver of a black BMW which may have involved in the collision.

"As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area or witnessed the collision, the moments leading up to it, or the aftermath.
