Charity warns cost of living is hurting fundraising
One of the south's leading charity's says it is struggling to fundraise partly because of the cost of living crisis
Mountbatten Hampshire provides free care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses across Southampton and West Hampshire.
The charity's annual Sunflower Walk, which happens in Romsey on Sunday, 3 July, normally raises vital funds but sign-ups are down.
Charity bosses are hoping people will join them in a picturesque 2K stroll through the beautiful Broadlands Estate to raise money.

Nigel Hartley, Chief Executive Officer, said, "The World is in a very difficult place at the moment and people are having difficulties for all sorts of reasons.
Raising money for charity is probably in one of the most difficult times it's ever been.
But this charity matters. Mountbatten has an aim to make sure no one is ignored who needs care.
Our staff go out into the community 24 hours, 7 days a week, to make sure people at home are safe, pain free and as comfortable as possible and that's really important".
Mountbatten is an independent charity which, each and every year, must raise more than ÂŁ7m to ensure it can care for the growing number of people who need it.
