Car fire treated as arson
Police investigating a car fire in Southampton are treating it as arson
Officers were called shortly after 1am on Sunday 12 November to a report that a blue Ford Fiesta was alight on Hawkhurst Close.
The force believes that the car was set alight intentionally.
Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who was in or around the area of Hawkhurst Close between 12.45am and 1am and saw anything suspicious.
They are particularly keen to hear from a man who was seen in the area at the time, who they believe may have information to assist with enquiries.
The only description they have of him at the current time is that he was wearing light coloured clothing and carrying a Bag for Life from The Range.
