Body of missing Winchester man found

Police have found the body of a man, more than a year after he went missing from Winchester.

Grant Maddocks, who was 52, disappeared on August 5th, 2021.

He was last seen on CCTV walking along Badger Farm Road at 5.45pm that day.

Hampshire Police confirmed that Grant's body had been found on Wednesday (August 9th), but did not release information about exactly when or where.

They said that his death is not being treated as suspicious and his family have been informed.

A file is being prepared for the coroner.
