Body of missing Southampton woman found in River Test
Police say they're supporting the family of 44-year-old Debbie Tarrant
Police have said the body of a woman found in the River Test in Southampton is that of a missing woman from the city.
The discovery was made near to the Western Docks yesterday (Thursday 20th).
Forensic tests have confirmed it to be that of 44-year-old Denise Tarrant, who was reported missing on Wednesday afternoon.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said Denise's family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Officers will now prepare a file for the coroner.
A spokesperson for the force said:

"Our thoughts are with Denise’s family."
