A man has been arrested after a woman was assaulted in Chichester.
The victim was attacked by a man known to her in South Street around 1am on Sunday, April 30.
Two other women tried to stop it but were allegedly pushed away.
A 30-year-old suspect has been questioned on suspicion of three counts of assault, using threatening or abuse words and resisting an officer.
He has been bailed until August while enquiries continue.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to report it online or by calling 101, quoting serial 84 or 30/04.
