A warning for boats in the Solent
No more lights on the well-known navigation tool
A warning has been issued to boats in the Solent as a well known navigation tool is switched off.
From tonight, the Fawley chimney won't have its lights on anymore.
It'll eventually be demolished to make way for a new development although a date for that has not yet been confirmed.
