87-year-old man dies after collision in Nether Wallop

An 87 year old man who was a passenger in a car involved in a collision in Nether Wallop has died in hospital in Southampton from his injuries.

Officers were called at 11.17am on Friday (4 July) to reports of a collision on the A30 Stockbridge Road with the junction of the B3084 Salisbury Road.

The collision involved a green Hyundai I20 and a grey Vauxhall Vivaro.

The passenger of the Hyundai, an 87-year-old man, was taken to Southampton General Hospital following the collision, where he sadly died from his injuries on Sunday morning.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:

"As part of our investigation we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who has relevant dash cam footage capturing the incident or the moments leading up to it.
