83-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Sandown
A woman's been taken to hospital with serious injuries
Police have arrested an 83-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following what is being described as a 'domestic-related' incident in Sandown.
A woman was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries from an address in the Ridgeway after officers were called there at 9.36am on Friday (August 9th).
Her injuries are not described as life-threatening.
The man was taken to St Mary's Hospital in Newport, before being discharged and arrested.
He has now been bailed with conditions until November 9th while investigations continue.
