Yeovil's Christmas Extravaganza cancelled days after opening
The organisers have blamed vendors and suppliers cancelling in the run up to the event
The organisers of Yeovil's Christmas Extravaganza have called off the event, just two days after it launched.
In a statement online, the organisers say its down to a number of factors including problems with suppliers.
Yeovil Christmas Extravaganza say "this was a difficult decision to make and we understand some of you may be disappointed. Our vision was to provide an event for the town for families to enjoy Christmas, it was never our intention to upset anyone".
The event began last Friday (15th December) but suffered some "operational issues" on day one which resulted in a partial closure of the site at Yeovil Showground.
People with tickets for activities like the Santa's Grotto and Ice Rink are being asked to contact Yeovil Christmas Extravaganza directly to arrange refunds.
