Yeovil Town fan discharged after falling ill during Fylde match
The Glovers' medics who treated him have been praised for their "outstanding care and professionalism"
Yeovil Town say the grandfather of one of their players has been discharged from hospital, after he fell ill during their match with Fylde.
Ian Koerner, whose grandson Corey started on the bench, was treated in the stands by Glovers' medics Joe Stacey and Tony Boreham.
In a statement online, the Glovers paid tribute to their "outstanding care and professionalism."
The club say they send their best wishes to Ian as he continues his recovery in Yeovil.
They add they will "continue to offer support to Ian’s grandson Corey and his family" following what they described as a "distressing incident."
Yeovil won the match 4-3, to move up to seventh in the National League.
The Glovers are next in action on Tuesday, when they host Solihull Moors at Huish Park.
