Walk-in vaccine clinic at Bath and West Showground
Anyone who hasn't yet had a vaccine or booked one can head to the site this weekend
Anyone across Somerset who hasn't had their Covid vaccine is being invited to a special drop-in clinic at the Bath and West Showground this weekend.
The site in Shepton Mallet is open both today (Saturday 12 June) and tomorrow from 10am until 6pm.
All eligible adults who have not yet had a first dose, or booked a slot through the National Booking
Caroline Upton, clinical lead at the vaccination centre said “We really want to encourage as many eligible people as possible, to take up the offer of a COVID jab - so we are running a one-off special, walk-in weekend clinic.
“We have plenty of vaccine supply available. There is no need to book, just come along – but please bear with us as it could be busy. Our friendly team of vaccinators and volunteers will be ready to welcome people to the site and keep the clinics running as smoothly as possible.”
After the weekend walk-ins, people should book as normal before attending the site.
