Collison on A358 in Somerset leaves woman in hospital

Emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A358 just before 4pm today.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police has said:

"We were called at 3.51pm today (2 October) to reports of a two-car collision on the A358 near Hatch Beauchamp.

"Officers attended and closed the road. It reopened shortly before 5.30pm.

The ambulance and fire services also attended and two women were treated at the scene. One of these women has been taken to hospital."
