Two teenagers in custody after stabbing in Taunton

Avon and Somerset Police say the man in his 30s is in a non-life threatening condition in hospital

Two teenagers are in police custody this afternoon after a stabbing in Taunton.

Avon and Somerset Police say a man in his 30s was stabbed while walking along Colin Road at about 11.40pm last night (February 2 Feb).

His two wounds are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A scene remains in place on Colin Road and residents are being reminded by police that they will see an increased police presence as house-to-house and other enquiries continue.

Neighbourhood PCSOs will be patrolling the area today (3 February) to offer a reassuring uniformed presence and speak with anyone who has concerns after this incident.

The police have launched an appeal for information and would like to hear from anyone who was in the Colin Road area last night who saw or has dashcam or other footage of anything which could help.
