Two people die in Frome bypass collision

Another person has been airlifted to hospital in life-threatening condition

Two people have died in a collision in Frome.

Police were called to reports of a two vehicle collision on the Frome Bypass around 10.30 pm last night (26/07).

The incident involved a VW Polo and an Audi RS6.

Sadly, two people from one of the cars were declared deceased at the scene

One person from the second car was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

The road remains closed from Berkley Roundabout to the junction with the A362 Rodden Down while a thorough investigation is carried out.

Police say they want to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash, or have relevant dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage of the time of the collision.
